WHAT DOES THIS EXERCISE TARGET?
This exercise is deceiving because it looks like an upper body exercise. It certainly gets the upper back muscles involved in any row but it is also a killer core exercise.
WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM THIS EXERCISE?
By training the upper body and the core together, you prepare your core to function during complex activities. This exercise will help you to develop a stronger back, higher functioning core, and even help your posture.
HOW SHOULD I USE THIS EXERCISE IN MY WORKOUTS?
This is a great core exercise within a core-specific workout but it also can be used during an upper body day. Shoot for 2-4 sets of 15-45 second holds.
