DON'T UP YOUR CARDIO - LIFT WEIGHTS INSTEAD

Cardio tends to be the go-to mode of exercise because it's easy to do on autopilot. This isn't a message to say cardio is bad; it's not. The issue comes when the the pie chart that represents your workout routine only has a tiny sliver to show for strength training. Strength training is necessary for longevity, performance, fat burn, muscle gain and so much more. If you're not sure where to start when it comes to resistance training, hire a coach! The keys to successful strength training are quality and consistency, but first you have to start.
