I’m always keeping an eye for training equipment that can make the workout experience and environment better. Here are a few items I’ve enjoyed using in 2019 and look forward to incorporating more in 2020:

  1. kPulleyby Exxentric: The kPulley Flywheel System from Exxentric is a great training tool that has allowed us to provide some exercise variety in an intelligent way for our athletes in our training programs here at TDAE. Click HEREo see how we’ve used this unique flywheel technology.

2. ANCORE: One of the issues with training at home or on the road is figuring out how to recreate cable resisted exercises. Bands are great but there are certain cable exercises that can’t be recreated with a band as effectively. ANCORE HEALTH & FITNESSas come out with an exciting solution. Click HEREo learn more.

3. Sanddune Stepper: We have utilized this tool heavily at TDAE. It provides the ability to implement low impact training on an unstable surface. Unstable surface training is great for strengthening the muscles of the feet, ankles and lower legs. Check it out HERE

4. The BOB: This tool is great for ankle mobility and strengthening. If you struggle with sprained or stiff ankles, this product is great to have at home to combat that. Learn more HERE
